This is purely based on experiencing a complete/definitive playthrough of Borderlands 2, and it’s centered around character and plot consistency between the DLCs. LET ME BE CLEAR: This has nothing to do with loot optimization or multiple playthroughs. The whole reason I wanted to do this is to find a spoiler-free and cohesive way to mix the DLC campaigns and Headhunter quests into the main story without defying canon. But personally, I think it’s kind of disappointing to just assume that all the DLC has to be played post-story. “It’s not hard, right? You just play all the DLC after beating the main game and save Commander Lilith for last.”Īnd you’re right. If you’ve ever heard of the famous “Machete Order” for watching the Star Wars films, this is like that but for BL2 and its meaty catalogue of side content. So basically I’ve spent way more time than I should have coming up with a “canon” way to play through Borderlands 2 and all the DLCs. r/PandoranRedCross - Donations & Power Leveling
